Lake Falcon 2-28 thru 3-2-14 This year has been a grind. We spent 3 days fishing and very little catching. We managed to fish the Salado, Hediona, Diablo, School Bus, Pierces, Big and Little Tigers, and Coyotes. Spinnerbait and Senko seemed to produce the most bites. The salt cedars were holding some bass and edges of creek channels near hard woods in 4-6 feet. Not much has changed in past several weeks. Hoping to head back when reports change a little. It was tough but I'm not giving up on her...she will produce again...

Heading down Thursday thru Sunday. Should give her all we got. I have three things tied on sb, senko, and a square bill. Flipping if all else's fells

Weightless senko seemed best but I also used a light shakey head jig and texas rig. I love flipping jigs in deep and shallow water but never got a single bump on jig.

I caught everything on a brush hog with red flakes nothing else!!!

Guess we were a year or two too late!
Guide boated two the first day , I got one, partner got skunked. Second day guide boated one, partner one, and I got skunked.

Tough trip,,,, one on sinko,,, 4 on spinners,,,,,,,,,, weather perfect, light breeze, weather 60* morning, mid 70* afternoon

Just got back from falcon . Fished local tourney, partner got on one but unable to boat her worst part was that was the only bite we got... water temp was 60-63 didnt think this front was going to affect them.

Tourney at Amistad this weekend....fishing has been hit and miss there as well...a few fish hitting jigs on points at mouths of creeks they were in transition areas....spinnerbait working some as well...most fish on jig...

anyone headed down to Falcon give me a call. I will try and point you in the right direction. I won't try and sell you anything I am just trying give you the best chance to catch fish as this &*%*&% is tough right now... And if fishermen stop coming to Falcon I might have to trade in my lifestyle for an employee number (Puked and swallowed when I typed that)
