I was a sucker to buy myself 2 Livingston Lures today when I went to BassPro, I'm a rookie to this lure so hear me out.... How do I get this darn thing rattling,Glowing etc... Is there a "on/off" switch? Or would it automatically turn on once it hits the water?

Thanks!

They croak when they get wet, so you don't need to do anything. Just start fishing and you're good to go!

Just wet your fingers and put them on the hook keepers. The croak is faint, but you can hear it.

Wet your fingers and touch where the hook is attached to the body, the eyes should light up,put it up to your ear you will hear a faint croaking sound. I have 7 of them two don't work at all two work sometimes. Seems to me like they may have some quality control issues.

Results from tonight's fishing:

I went out to a local pond and caught 3 good size bass on the new Livingston Lure, I still yet to hear rattling, glowing, baitfish sound etc.... Idk what's up with this exact lure but it didn't work "electronic" wise but walking the dog was super fun and easy! I was throwing the spook while it was raining hard and still had fish blow up on it! I'm going to keep on trying it out and hopefully the darn thing turns on but what a great evening for a topwater blow ups!

I would think that they have a hydrostatic pressure switch and the lure is activated once it is below the surface, maybe so maybe no.

Well the Livingston folks, I just talked to them this week when I made my order, tell me it is water activated.
As soon as it is wetted, the noise/LEDs/begin until dried.
So, soon as your finished fishing with it - DRY IT OFF!
Good luck and good fishing!!

It's no where near that advanced. It's designed where the water contacting the hook keepers will complete a circuit.

I will be at the Bass Pro in grapevine today with Livingston Lures. I'll be doing some demos of the lures and answering any questions y'all have about them

There are MANY on here, I wish would go out meet/talk with you.
There are many conclusions/stories....but little in the way of FACTS!
