Water was high, had a slow day two fish my buddy caught 3. Coons everywhere got dirt all over my yak cause that is where I hid the food haha. All fish caught on texas rig worm. They were still pretty deep wish we could have had warm weather all week might had been better. I believe they are starting to move to pre-spawn the front will probably slow it down again this week.

Figured it was just a typo. Do they still not open the gate at Purtis until 7am?

It'll be dark at 7 most likely with the time change. I think, unless my math is wrong, sun up is 730ish?

NO I apologize. Registration will most likely be right in front of the gate entrance at Purtis Creek. Sorry for the confusion changing that now.

Since we are camping Friday night (3/14/14) the park ranger told us we can open the gate for everyone early on Saturday. Just going to be $6 per person at the honor box a.k.a. "The Iron Ranger." And yes with the time change the sun's up at 7:11a.m. I believe.
