I would guess a 10 degree drop in NE Texas, maybe more.

48 on the north end this afternoon. Tough fishing. Caught 2 dinks on a trap.

Had 61 deg in the creeks with fish biting good. Today 49 deg same water one bite one fish.(FORK)

Saw 47-53 midlake at Fork this afternoon. Bass bite was OK. Magnum sandbass bite was great.

Hmmm....the fish have not fled to far from where they were...the thing is they are cold blooded, until the lake stratifies they will be all over the place because oxygen is consistent due to the cooler water temps, so they can be in a foot of water to 20+ and still be comfortable - but they will shut down, so fish slower where you last caught them...just a thought...

Jig bite was light but there. By Saturday or Sunday I bet the bite will be a lot better

I remember doing a search once and finding.
Water temp only drops X amount of degrees for
every degree drop in ambient temp.
