thumb Those sure are some beautiful bucks you got there. I am going on a trip up to Dumas Tx. for Thanksgiving weekend to do some hunting myself. sure do hope I can post some pictures like these when I return. thumb

LOL. No, this deer was killed on a ranch that is around 5,000 acres. It looks to be an older buck that wouldnt have grown much more.

I am just doing a european mount on this deer. I Have the head sitting in a monster fire ant bed out in a pasture.

Hey Justin,

Next time you do a european mount, try skinning the head out and putting it in a drum of water, the water needs to be changed almost daily for about 5 days. But when it comes out its ready for bleaching. The flesh just rinses off with a water hose. All the brains will just fall out two. Its a little nasty but you dont have to wait. just my $.02
