Ok, am guessing many of you, like myself, got an email message on BASS and Randy Howells' win and advertising the 'new electronic' line of lures.
Gimmick? Innovative?
Bottom line: Are ya'll going to try one or more of these or not at all ?

Well if it is the one Randy uses, then I guess it works. And as far as innovative, I think a few companies have tried to do some sort of electronic in some of their lures, but they seem to not work that well. I hope that these work out so I can give one a try.

Hmmm....ok. Well, chalk this 'one' up to sucker. I have ordered four..
Deep/Medium Diver and two different color 'stick' shallow diver baits
Sounds innovative to me ...but...could just be another lure to catch 'fishermen'.

Lee,

on these lakes deep and medium divers are useless unless we get some rain.

Did I miss something. Did Randy have a mic on . I didn't hear any croaking when he was unhooking the fish.

Pass on these.

They will just end up with my lazer lures.

I have a few but have not used them yet. That being said most of the stuff you see is to catch fisherman not fish. LOL

Electronic sounds and lights aside, they catch fish simply because they are a crankbait, and crankbaits without those qualities such as Randy's DT6 clearly catch just as many fish. They Livingston lures closely immitate the shapes, bills, and action of other already successful crankbaits. I think the fact that they make the most subtle clicking noises is a gimmick to hook fishermen. The thump and natural action of the baits and rattles are what catch the fish in my opinion. That being said I've never used them and probably won't.

I would rather buy two or three $5-6.00 cranks and put tripplegrips on them then buy one lure that sounds like a cricket.

Ok, well, at this point, as I said, I'm committed having ordered four.
Well, hope it's not just 'another fisherman lure'.
We'll see....LOL, not that I'm that good but will give feedback on whatever I do or don't experience..

Yes, I am a sucker too. Bought one at BPS that was on sale. Still haven't tried it though. I do think that if you believe in the Hydrowave you could also believe in the Livingston lures. I do have a Hydrowave and believe it helps, so there is a chance.
