We managed to get a kayakers classifieds, which is great btw, I sold my big tuna through it. But we need to get a dedicated sticky so we can put all of the rigging stuff in there. I know this has been brought up before, but I figure if it is brought up enough someone will get annoyed enough and just do it. Anyone agree??

As in rigging ideas? Rigging sales? I think as many yakers as we have here we should have a list of all the kayaks and be able to click on a specific make and model and below there would be pictures of the forum members rigged yaks. That way say a newb just got a ride 135 and wants to see ideas on rigging that kayak. He could see examples.

The other thing I've seen, along those lines is a forum dedicated to rigging, and I would have my own thread...Christian would have his, and so on. Any time you update your rigging, just post it to your thread.

I like Christian's idea too.

I have no clue who would be able to rule on this, but it could be that most of the Mods listed with maybe the exception of a couple aren't dedicated kayakers, and you have to admit we are a pretty tame bunch not like some of the other forums, so they may not check in that often. noidea

Just one more cast!

A couple of bike forums that I used to frequent had a "What did you do to your bike today" type thread. While they weren't a "sticky" they usually stayed close to the top. Of course they where bike specific forums to so..... With all the different kinds and brands of yaks here I'm not sure how it would work. It'd be a lot of digging through several pages to find info and riggin idea on a specific boat for sure but if ya can't have a sticky...

I recall that Zombie (pretty sure it was Zombie) had a rigging thread that had a lot of really good stuff in it. Can't find it now........I do remember we asked for it to be stickied. Maybe someone remembers it?

I do, I thought it was a cool idea and enjoyed it being a sticky.

The problem with one post is not being able to find a particular kind of kayak. They have a sticky on tkf like that. It takes forever to find what you are looking for. Imo.

Yeah, I can see how that would be the case. Just throwing it out there. I like your idea just as much, if not more.
