Had the pleasure of fishing with a couple of buddies and our friend/guide Matt Cartwright on Tawakoni this morning. First trip out in a while. Dressed for cold and it was. Fun to watch a guy that knows what he's doing. Matt put us on huge sand bass and we worked several areas picking off fish. It was hit and miss but we put together a good box of fish. I have a smaller but similar boat with the same gizmos, and I know I wouldn,t have produced that good box of fish on a COLD march day. As always I learned a lot and besides catching more and bigger fish, its fun to talk to a guy that really knows the game.Thanks Matt that was a lot of fun.
And, come on spring I,ve had enough winter.

My wife, 4 year old boy and I had the opportunity to go out with Matt at the end of feb... Not only did he put us on my pb blue cat (31lb) my wife also landed a 11lb hybrid!!!! Matt is def a legit guide!!!! I def would recommend him to anyone goin to tawakoni... If I had the patience to learn how to post pics I would! Now we have a lot of fish to eat so I can book again lol

Well I figured out how to load but how can I rotate?!?! Guided trip with Matt lake tawakoni

Very nice Duece! We've enjoyed fishing with Matt now for several years! And look forward to several more! Glad y'all got on some today Fish - on ..those are some gooduns ..congrats!

Nice fish guys! I learn something every time I fish with Matt! If I had half his talent at finding and catching fish " they are not the same thing" I would be thrilled! Can't wait to get back out there, been too long!

I had a stellar trip with Matt as well. My 17lb Striper hanging In My office reminds me of the day all the time
Nice fish! Glad y'all got out!!
I do enjoy a good Squirt now and then.

I think Matt has impressed us all several times and we supposedly are the experienced fishermen. That's how good the dude is!!!
