I've done some searching on here and still want some opinions. I bought a new reel and I'm looking for a good worm rod. With the trade in deal and sale at BPS, I've got a short list From high $ to lower: TFO Signature, BPS Carbonlite, and Abu Veritas. With the deals these range from $85 down to $65. I'm on a budget for this rod so even $100 is pushing it. I'm open to other suggestions, but also would appreciate first hand experiences with these.

Out of those I'd get the carbonlite

Cabala's has the Gary Loomis Series TFO for like $99.00. Model TFG SSC 665-1 looks pretty nice.

I would not get the carbonlight. I have broke two on hook sets. I broke one thought it was just a bad rod. I had the warranty got another one and did the same thing. Then I traded that in for a duket rod and broke that one too. That was my short experience with micro eyes. What about a mojo bass or a skeet reese or a low rider dam good for the price. I think they are all about 100 bucks.

Everyone has different opinions but I've owned just about every rod you listed and handled all of them. The Carbonlite is the most sensitive to me and definitely the lightest with the Veritas coming in right behind it. The TFO rods I didn't like a whole lot and I don't like micro guides in anything.

TFO or Carbinlite. I own the TFO and like it alot. I have used the carbonlite and it's extremely sensitive. I just bought a Browning (BPS) Superlignt Rod and reel. I got the rod for 100. I expect it to be great. I knew I was gonna get that super light reel but I was deciding between the carbon rod and superlight. I liked the way the superlight felt and considering the Browning Citori rod I have that they don't make any more is about my favorite I decided to go out on a limb and buy the superlight.

Another vote for Carbonlite (regular guides) i've got a
6'9"MH xfast love that rod for t-rigs,second only to my GLX. Also have a 7' MH fast and its a good do all rod i throw larger t-rigs,jigs,chatterbaits,traps...etc.

Ive been fishing both for a couple years and
the 6'9" has caught 2 over #7 and my PB over #11. Never had any trouble nor has my partner with his.
I fish alot of plastics and the 6'9" is always close grin

Everyone as always starts mentioning all there favorite rods that are twice or more the mans "$65-$85 and $100 really pushing it" range. Sir, go to Acadamy and buy an All Star rod. $49.00-$89.00 for their different series rods. Of these the "Classic" series for $49.99 is well within your price and are an excellent rod for the money. Go get one and a (small)handfull of lures and still be under budget.

I REALLY like the Berkley Lightning Rods if you want something inexpensive.
