not me! im just donating anyway, I cant catch a single fish right now. But thats ok with me, fishing can be humbling.

Wished I could make it but I can't. Already had something planned on that date for the last month. I'm betting whoever goes catches a bunch. Beautiful area.

how's the weather looking for this one?

50% chance of showers high of 57 north wind around 10 mph. Im still planning on doing the tourney. All of us have things planned after this weekend so if all possible we need to go ahead with the tourney. If not many show up then not many show up.

ill be fishing friday and camping friday night w mike, let me know if you wanna join, just an fyi we do drink beer and tell lies...

Im taking the day off friday and plan on fishing also.

The weather report is improving, and I'm really looking forward to hitting it on Saturday!



I fished out of Buncombe for about 3-4 hours on the 23rd and picked up a few fish, two of which were overs to about 25". That was with a stiff wind that kept me close to the cove entrance. We should be able to work a LOT of river channel, shallow flats, or even some stumpy shoreline from that launch! I won't be surprised at all if someone brings in a 32"-33" fish. I love me some Texoma Striper Fishing!

I hope a lot of you guys make the trip. I think it will be a GREAT time!!!

Anyway, still some iffy reports from Texoma, but some good stuff coming out too (see the Island girls post). I think it's going to be a good day, and you (and anyone else) are welcome to fish with us and see what has worked for us. It will be a bunch of fun, for sure...

The weather forecast is still changing. Seems like they cant decide when the front will hit. Regardless, mid 50's and a chance of rain is good news, IMO..

It's hard to tell if very many folks are coming out or not. I know the excitement took a hit when Mike had to postpone it, but I'm really amped up about it and hope a crowd shows up!

Dont expect much of a turnout maybe 15. But will still be fun. Hoping for good weather.
