Need any info on places to stay around the Lake Austin area that is fisherman friendly, safe parking, electric (even if out the door) within reasonable driving distance to the lake. Where does everybody stay that are fishing Bass Champs at LBJ that's not that far from Lake Austin is it? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I fished LBJ a few weeks ago and we stayed at the Hill Country Motel in Marble Falls. Should can back your boat up to your room and run the cord inside (that's what we did). Clean room, decent prices, but I'm not sure how far it is to Lake Austin.

I would probably be better off staying at the Holiday Inn at Lakeway, it's closer but a little pricey but if ya figure gas and time both ways kind of makes up for it, only for a couple days, just have to make sure they have a plug in. Stayed there with the wife on a week-end getaway. Plus the place down the road, Chicago Dogs, is a dynamite place to eat, that guy has some good stuff best I've had since I move here, just like home.

Lake austin is a good 45 min to an hour from LBJ. If you can't get a room in marble falls, stay in cedar park area around fm1431.

Does the Cedar Park area have motels there? I'll google it to see how far it is from the 360 ramp. Thanks for that info.
