Years ago I fished an event on Wheeler & G was an honorary co-director at weigh in. When I got up on stage to weigh it was announced that I had come all the way from Colorado to fish...in typical G fashion he commenced to give me a rash about how I wasn't suppose to know how to fish for bass, something along the line that Alabama bass don't take trout lures...it was pretty funny and everyone had a good laugh...G has been one of my favorites since.
