I'm heading down there this Thursday and planning on fishing Friday through Sunday.
I was wondering how safe the PUBLIC ramps are on Lake Fork? I read that there are 4 of them so I was just wondering which one to avoid and such? Any help would be appreciated!

I've put in at Oak Ridge and on the 515 Bridge on the East Fork. Never had a problem at either.

I have a Largemouth at home....sometimes she lets me go fishing.

Yeah, I was looking at the FM 515 East launch specifically because my boat is slow, only a 40horse motor so thats close to where I want to go

Nothing wrong with Hwy 17 public ramp or the 2946 public ramp!

515 East you can launch on either side. But, you almost have to hit the middle with silted in sand to load the boat up.

With all the crackheads and thefts that are running rampant around east tx, I'd forgo the public ramps and just spend the three bucks and launch at a marina. Saving 3 bucks cost me over 2000 a few months ago.

Well, I will be staying at the fisherman's inn and they do have a boat launch but its just a far boat ride with the 40 horse on there
