Yea, yea I know they are both "white rods" but personally don't give a [censored] what color they are. Looking for opinions on the duckett ghost and the cabellas tournament z series. Any opinions would help.

If ya like the white rods you can get a Abu Veritas for $80. I like the St Croix Mojo for that price too.

Here are a few truths about Ghost:
-No ceramic eyes
-Spot on actions(med heavy is med heavy..etc)
-Light, balanced and sensitive
-Split reel seat for maximum sensitivity transfer to hand
-Comfort grip EVA
-ONLY 99.00!!!!!!!

For a true $100 rod I think the Ghost is the best out there, followed by the carbon lite from BPS (it gets no love but is a jam up rod) BUT if you still consider a rod that retails for $110 to $120 a $100 rod I think that the best BY FAR is the 13 fishing omen black line of rods. Tackle tour and many folks on there have rated them at the most sensitive rod under $200 on the market and I too can attest that they are at least as sensitive as my Falcon Cara rods and probably a bit more. I have several of them and absolutely love them. I just with they came in some more moderate actions instead of all fast action.

I really was impressed with the Falcon Bucoo also. Bought my wife a MH and she likes my Cara M better so I had to take the Bucoo to use. LOL Good rod for the money.

Ive had a bunch of the bucoo's and omens..the omens are taking good abuse i blew 3 bucoos apart on my first trip.

Another vote for 13 Fishing Omen. I have small hands and they fit wonderful. 7ft 1 in in medium is very versatile. 1/4 ounce worm, jerk bait, great top water. Handle is not too long so twitching is easy. Same with 6ft 7 in version. I love them. $100 even
