Well the metro region TBC was at Lake Arlington this weekend, the fishing was tough to say the least!!!! no limits were brought in!!!!
We had 16 teams total, 15 pd entries, 1st Mark jr & Jaci Biondi 9.07lbs 4 fish Also had big bass 3.82 lbs 2nd Billy & Paula Deaton 8.60 lbs Paula had ladies bb 3.78 lbs 3rd Jimmy & Chris Erwin 6.98 lbs 4th Rusty Russell & Ava Miner 3.71lbs 5th Jason & Melisa Greenfield 3.07 lbs 6th Mark & Toi Biondi 3.00 7th Byron & Amy Biondi 2.07 8th Chris & April Ford 1.43 Everyone else either left early or came to scales empty handed!! We would like to welcome back Ronny & Vicky Eller and also new couples Jessie & Danielle and Billy & Pam. Hope to see everyone next month at Alvarado and fishing should be much better. Angler of the year race is pretty tight right now, but still time to qualify for the championship at Lake Palestine.

Hey Jimmy, At the last tourney I was told that the Amon Carter tournament may be changing due to the lake level. If so are we going to vote on another lake or is there already one picked out? Maybe make a poll on here with about 4 lakes to choose from. Hope you didn't freeze at Squaw today....

We have a wedding to go to that date in April so will not make that tourney, so we aren't going to vote.

How bout Fork? The lake should be on fire by that time and possibly even a chance for late spawners. Since it's a slot lake it should keep the weights close unless someone got lucky and caught an over.

I like the idea of Leon I haven't been there in over 10 years but remember it being a cool little lake with some big fish. Should be great that time of year. And no way to fork in April way to much pressure. Lol B

I heard Aquilla is pretty low also(but what lake isn't). I haven't been to Leon or Aquilla or Athens in at least 20 years so it would be interesting to see what they looked like now. What about Grapevine? At Squaw we wouldn't have to worry about the fog delay... Tournament season at Fork is Jan-Dec it always has pressure and constant sacks are usually brought in. I'd be down for some sight fishing is all I was saying.

Fork has tournaments and people coming in from everywheres in march and April. Don't say Fork anymore. Lol LEON or FALCON. Is my vote. We could all stay with the angler of the year if we went to Falcon. He cooks a great breakfast.

I've been to Squaw twice since it has reopened and got lucky, lets go to Arlington again or Joe Pool twice. Didn't yall win at Arlington? One of you this year and the other last year? 26lb sack? Arlington has my vote(OTHER THAN FORK) and neither of you should complain against that...

Know a guy that fished Aquilla last weekend and said it is only down about 3 feet, good fish were caught. We need to go where no one fishes often so the playing field is equal. No squaw creek, Ray Roberts or fork for us.
