Which card is better? (Lake MAster or Navionics) Have a 898ci HD SI fish mostlty Texas lakes. Thanks for the help.

Personally I have the Lakemaster chip and love it. The additional items that you can do with it in a Humminbird is the advantage. Depth highlighting, water level adjustments, are 2 great items. But that is my opinion.

I love the Navionics and the LakeVu is even beter IMHO.

After talking to the Navionics guy at Fork...NEITHER! hey stated that they have to run 2-3 boats so many feet apart and scan the lake. When a I asked him why it was so off he said they have to guess and 80% of it cause they have to go around stumps and cant get a real reading. So I asked him the what about dam area that is wide open water you don't have the Creek channels hump ect down right??? "We just used the map and free hand it." REALLY!!! So you just really better off getting the basic mapping and graph it yourself..

both are junk on toledo and rayburn, missing lots of information, get the old topographic maps off the web from the usgs...most accurate

got a navionics for my Humminbird. Found out you can do more with the Lakemaster on Humminbirds. We will see.. Navionics is for sale.. LOL..

I have both and they both show different things on them. I do favor the Lake master with my Humminbirds because of the added features.....
