I'd definitely recommend checking to see if Tom Redington is available. FLW pro who knows the lake as well as anyone.

I have used a lot of guides but not on Fork. IME, use guides who GUIDE as opposed to those who guide while they wait to be the next KVD. Not a blanket indictment but just what I have experienced. I've said this before but the worst guide I ever had was Clark Wendandt. He OBVIOUSLY knows ow to fish.

Both Eddie Garrett and Mike Moody run out of Popes Landing. They are both great guides. Lots of great guides on fork but these are the ones I have the most water time with and trust them for not only a great day on the lake but an educational day as well.

It may appear that they are expensive but if you run the numbers they do not make that much an hr..... boat, gas, insurance, tackle, etc. Has to come out of that fee. There is so much more to their work load than just the time on the water with a client, they have to maintain the boat, the tackle, get the ice, scout the fish and many other things that one never thinks of. Just look at how many good guides that are not in business anymore.... there much easier ways to make more money.

I've fished with Cody Malone and Brooks Rogers. Both were awesome. If your going on April 14th any of them can get you on fish.
