As hard as I try, I just can't find words that really help with the loss. There is nothing like loosing a loved one. All I can say is the sorrow and grief is evidence of the love you shared and you and your family have my prayers.

My dad also died way too soon at 90 yrs old. He taught me to cast his old Zebco 33 and to love fishing. I'll forever be grateful until I see him again.

All the best to you and your family.

So sorry to hear of your loss. It is made all the worse when they are the ones that taught us this great sport we all love so much. I know how you feel. I lost my first best fishing buddy when I was 17. It may sound trite but time does heal all wounds. What is often not said, is that it leaves a bad scar. May God be with you and your family in your time of grieving.

Thanks everyone. We appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers. When it is your time there is not much you can do about it, and that is the way we are looking at it. Thanks again.
