we are thinking of places to take the kids (under 10) for a quick srping break road trip the week of 3/10. austin and san antonio are on the short list. what about hot srpings ar? anyone familar with that area? there are a few houses for rent on lake hamilton that look nice but most are booked already which had me wondering if that might be a bad time to go. would there be a lot of teenagers there on spring break making it a not so good time to take the family?

thanks,

Take the kidos camping. Lake Livingston, Lake Huntsville, Mckinney Falls State Park or my fav Lake Bastrop. The weather is super for the outdoors right now (before it gets terribly hot). Fishing, Biking, Hiking, camp fires and a some good ole horse riding.

It's going to be either snowboarding, camping or the caves in San Antonio. I usually make my mind up the day of smile

We booked a cabin in Glen Rose at Anderson Creek
Cabins. We have never stayed there, but there are several out door things to do around the area.
