So, which lake is the best bass lake in Texas?
I know that BASS ranked Falcon #1 and Fork #26 a couple years back. But did Falcon really deserve the #1 ranking? Short term , maybe , but the ole girl Fork seems to be much more consistent through out the years. I know before the net, the stories of Falcon rarely were shared outside of tight circles.
Let's hear everyone's opinions

The two lake are no good. Falcon was the best some years ago but now its just like fishing on Fork but Fork is a lot closer.

A could of years back, I would have to agree with Falcon. Now, it's a toss up.

I think its a toss up, maybe giving the edge to Fork when it comes to best fishing, but I would choose a trip to Falcon in the dead of summer over a trip to Fork. Just personal preference

I think if as many people fished Falcon that fished Fork you would be surprised what was kicked out of Falcon. As far as crime and all that nonsense check and see how many (anglers) not jet skier's have been killed or stolen from on Falcon over that last 10 years?

Fishing at Fork or Falcon was the question not crime or such or any other lakes.
I can throw a half dozen small East Texas lakes that are crime free and kick out some giant sacks if you hit them at the right time.
I am just curious about Fork vs. Falcon, I have never been on Falcon and wish now I would have 2-4 years back....
