Does anybody know of any places around the Denton area that sales a good line of tackle? Years ago there was T&Sons on the square but that place is long gone now. The best store I've found anywhere close is sadly walmart. There is academy in Lewisville which has a terrible selection, as well as one in Flower Mound that has a decent amount of brands. It's about a 30 minute drive to Bass Pro with no traffic and the right lights. It would be nice to not plan a trip around a few items every time I need something. Does anyone have any knowledge of closer places that would have a variety of choices? I'd much rather put my money in local business anyhow. Any help is appreciated!

Do you have any experience ordering through them? I've never actually ordered my tackle at all for fear I'll goof and get some thing I didn't mean to order. Which is pretty sad considering I work for UPS. lol

I have ordered from Brannons several times and always had good luck. Give them a call and they will help make sure your order is the way you want it.

Their customer service is GREAT. I called to ask if I needed to request overnight shipping since I needed the baits for a trip in two days. She said since I was so close I would get it the next day without having to pay extra for overnight delivery. I thanked her and started to hang up, but before I could, she asked what I wanted. I told her I would just send her the order via the website. She said, "Tell me what you want and I'll pull it right now." So, she walked through the store while I was on the phone and pulled my order. She even asked me questions about color and size to make sure I got what I wanted. They did not have one item in the color I wanted (plastic trailer), but she recommended another color that was very close (and it was). Plus I received my order the next day. The shipping was $5.

I will use them again in a heartbeat.

I have ordered from Brannan's at least 15 times and the whole group is awesome. Prices are good and so is the service. most of the time my stuff shows up the next day and I'm in Frisco.

Drive down to Anglers Pro Tackle in North Richland Hills. ITs worth the drive.

They probably ship Fedex that way you get it when you're suppose to and not 3 weeks later and not sit in a trailer for 5 days. That's my rant I'm done.

There is a Mom and Pop store in Gainesville. TLC Hardware located on California street. Owned by Tommy Robinson and has a great selection of fishing tackle as well as a worm bar. Probably the best kept secret in the area!
