Ive been using Claudes' fajita seasoning on my skirt steak fajitas. Anyone tried this? I really like it. A buddy of mine says it's too smokey. Just wanted to see some other recommendations.

I use it as well, but mix it with an equal amount of beer. My 5 kids seem to know when I am doing it cause they all come home that day!

I don't like a marinade on my fajitas but I really like the Fiesta brand fajita seasoning.

Try using Coke as your marinade. About 3-4 hrs then season with Fiesta.

We use half Italian and half lite Italian on chicken and beef for fajitas...
And fiesta directly on the meat...

I like Claudes. Used it for years. Now I mix my own. Can not see paying for any marinade when I have a pantry full of spices.

Lime juice, salt, pepper, whole garlic cloves. Marinate for a couple of hours. Simple, you will be surprised how good it tastes.

That there is some good stuff.

I marinade with beer, lime juice, shot of tequila, little bit of oil and a couple tbsps of this red fajita seasoning.
Oh and a few dashes of worstershire
