Noodling is some crazy stuff lol. Anyone ever loose fingers to really big cats, or snapping turtles or poisonous snakes or anything else? Or is that half the thrill of it?
Fishingc - The catfish here do as well, though it's only a mild venom, and generally just hurts or gets infected lol. Still, not fun.

My dad told me, that when he was young, he went with his buddies to Denton Creek (long before Lake Lewisville) and they were reaching under the bank of the creek and pulling out catfish. UNTIL, one guy pulled out a Water Moccasin! My Dad never participated, just watched. (He was smarter!) This would have been in the 20's, I think.

I thought it was great the first couple times I did it...last time I confused a BIG softshell turtle for a cat...won't make that mistake again!!!
