can anyone recommend a lake near Austin to fish?
it appears that water levels are causing the public boat ramps to be closed on Lake Travis.
if you have any knowledge of the area please share I have never fished this area.

If you have a yak or bass buster, Lake Pflugerville is turning out some hogs. One kid has caught a 10.5 and an 11.5 in the last month.

Snowflakes and entitled brats will be the doom of America!

Go to granger. jk.

If you go to lake Austin you best have a decent boat that can handle some wakes. Boaters have no courtesy their. If not their I would go to Decker. I'm sure they are hitting good. I've always had luck this time of year.

You can fish Lake Travis by launching off the shore at Dink Pearson Park. It's an unimproved Travis County park. Follow the tire tracks down to the water and the spots being used for launching will be obvious.

I'll be out there in a black red white skeeter. By myself on Sunday. Fishing Friday Saturday too. I will check in if I have any luck.
