Loco coyote is fun to go to Loco Coyote is great but be prepared for a fairly long wait for a table. If you order the BBQ platter bring your appetite with you - the platter could easily feed 2-3 people. Where is this place? Glen Rose - They also have great fried catfish, CF Steaks, and hamburgers. http://www.letseat.at/lococoyotegrill/menu Thanks, I can do Glen Rose sometime!

Angelo's hasnt been the same since the early 90's,real tight on the portions and the brisket has never been the same. We still eat there when we are in town, just not the same since they hung that moose head I recon ? I like Angelos in Fort Worth, and Smittys in Lockhart

Tried Stanley's in tyler this weekend. Had the four meat sampler... ham ok, pork ribs good, brisket good, hot links good, beans very good. Tried the pulled pork good. Overall above average. Crowded and a little unorganized. The ribs have a slight sweet rub on them. the sauce if mixed with the hotter version is good. I needed the sauce on the ham a little dry. The brisket had good smoke ring. Close to being a little too dry but not over the line. served a little cool. crowd conditions to blame. I would go back it felt like a real BBQ place. The sandwiches looked interesting.

In my BBQ vision quest have hit spots all over the state. Right now best I have found is just up the road from me: BBQ on the Brazos in Cresson Tx. Experts rank it up there with Franklins, Pecan Lodge, and Muellars in Austin.
Old time Favorites from Days in ETEX Stanleys in Tyler, Country Tavern(RIBS) and a little known place outside of Tyler PAT G's.....
Fan of Mikiskas in Temple, Blacks in Lochart, Mother Mikes in Center if its still there!,Angelos in FTW!
Still searching for Good QUE! Everyday!!
