anytime you get that many that sizes all on the bank at the same time you are doing something right, good job!
Having fun is hard work sometimes! Not the biggest but big enough!

LOL,last time I saw the HILL clear was back in late 80's when it froze half the lake and you could walk from Fishing Village to the Silo's (and did) About 4' from the clear water was the red muddy stuff, time we left it was muddy bank to bank in the little cove Nice fish. looks like the water is clearing up there..

Looks good. We went out Saturday and got four of our own but not near that size. Always jealous when I see big ones from the bank.

LMAO) Reel'em up and swap the offering, after 2hrs M O V E your location no less then 100yds Stop casting across the county, you are likley over throwing viable fish Stagger multiple rods at different distances by 10-20'(foot) Its called looking, you dont need a boat with electronics to find fish(far to many century's have passed to prove this) Its fishing,JUST DO IT!!!

Thanks. That's pretty much exactly what we do. However, we do mix some poles with shad and others with some Team Catfish stuff and generally the stink is all that gets hits/fish (actually not true, sometimes the shad get a bass or turtle). Not going to complain, though, we enjoy catching multiple eater size. And typically those around us aren't catching any, so we know we're doing something right. Just haven't quite got the big ones down.

as long as your eatin fish size really doesnt matter Try a Santee rig with a 35-40" leader and get the cork out 3-4" from the hook Yes Sir,get the bait way up out of that silt and low oxygen bottom and see what swims your way. Why people bury their baits in the muck,Ive never understood ??? Every lake has silt on the bottom NO? If you want to "catch" fish, why hide the bait ? Danny Kings and CJ's Monster* work real good out in that mud hole for eaters Keep a kid type pole with you and you can catch perch off the rocks on 6lb test and simple canned corn or red worms, keeps you busy and fresh bait is always cool to have handy.

I "take" more people fishing then I ever do alone or "go with buddy's" I literally drag them back into the world of fishing they once knew. Many of which taught me as I grew up,most lessons didnt involve fishing Taking 4-6 kids out perch jerking these days is loosing its luster Ill admit, cant believe what people are raising these days LOL! Nice fish. Good of you to take that gentleman fishing and make more memories.

We'll try some of that next time. We've typically fished more in rivers, so aren't the best in lakes.
