No qualifiers as for as if you had all the time in the world to fish or all the money you needed to stay out there. I am talking if official practice started tomorrow and your entry was paid could you go out and be competitive and get a check no matter how far in the standings it is? Where do you think you would be when its over? Please don't throw out all the ifs, and buts, or whatever. I am talking straight up all costs are covered on a lake they fish with no choice in time of year or lake. No waypoint gifts or information. Just official practice days as the rules allow. Do you think you could honestly make a showing?
I personally feel I would get my arse handed to me to be blunt. I have seen the talent level out there firsthand and it ain't no joke. Takes a lot more than money to be competitive out there.

Watching Mueller and a couple of the other guys yesterday kind of brought the question up to me. Might be an interesting post if it stays on track.

I cant, wish I could but nope, not even almost. I have to learn to beat all these legends on Rayburn first.

On a deep, clear, Northern impoundment like Erie....absolutely not.
On a Southern lake....I could figure out where the fish are.

There is no lake choice or any other info. Its a simple yes or no on a one time event. Do you feel like you can show up and draw a check as your skills are right now with no other info, help or anything like that.

I would show up and fish my tail off I am just saying I think I would struggle trying to manage fish for a 4 day event as well as just play the strategy game that long.

Probably not. When I feel I'm ready, you'll see my name on the Pro side of the Opens. That day isn't coming any time soon. I'm still hesitant to fish any non-big bass tournament with an entry fee over $200.

I would probably get destroyed out there. I would end up just following Larry Nixon around and try to catch his leftovers.

What would Gary Dollahon do if he were here today?

If all the planets aligned just right with all the luck in the world, I may could pull out 2nd frm last. But normally I would get schooled so bad I wouldn't even show up to weigh in
