Not real clear pic, but maybe a Warmouth?

I thought warmouth at first but a warmouth has a really big mouth, almost like a largemouth bass. The mouth on the fish looks about the size of a green sunfish mouth. The blotchy pattern kinda throws me. Whatever it is, it sure is fat. A mess of 'em would probably be good eating.

Yep. Warmouth. The mottling of the skin is consistent with a Warmouth but not
A rock bass. Rock bass usually have red eyes also.

Warmouth. Mottled color is just a pigment thing. Catch bass all the time with some discolorations.

Count the hard spines on the anal fin. 5-6 = Rock Bass; 3 = Warmouth.

Yeah after doing a little research I know to just count the spines by the anal fin. Just wish I would have known that before because I think it may have been a record for that river at least
