We were staying at the Comfort Suites on South Broadway in Tyler wed night and thursday I found my tackle bag stolen from my boat along with my snap on cordless impact that was in a blow molded case with 4 batteries and a flashlight.

I am sorry for your loss. I've been there. If you don't want it to be stolen, don't leave it in the boat. Thieves will steal the dirty water out of your bilge if they think they can sell it.

Man, Sorry to hear you got robbed here in Tyler. Of course I and others will keep an eye out for your tackle. Did you place a call to Tyler PD and report what was stolen? They can keep a better eye on the local Pawn Shops and places this kind of equipment could be sold.

My buddy left a large cooler padlocked in the back of his truck one night at a motel in Palestine (30 mi south of Tyler) during deer season. He complained the next day that all of our beer was stolen. I ribbed him all day long how lucky we were that they didn't take the bottled waters! Those parking lots are patrolled nightly by opportunistic thieves. My constant worry is that I'll forget and leave a fishfinder on the boat.

I have a friend that had several rods and reels stolen while at the car wash in Tyler
