He guest hosted one of Barry Stokes shows, Southwest Outdoors Report, this last season. that should tell you something. Look on YouTube for Southwest Outdoor Reports or Barry Stokes. He has all the past episodes on there. You can watch that episode, and decide for yourself.
"I'd rather be fishing!"

I've already decided, the man knows what he is talking about, of that there is no doubt. Like I said, I've been following him for quite a while. By the way, are any of his ebooks worth it? I was mainly just curious if anyone else had learned from the information he has put out.

All the information I've read that he has put out is consistent with the techniques, equipment, etc. that most of the best seasoned guys here would give you. From what I gather it's pretty solid stuff, and if nothing else will give you a good baseline to build your own style on. He puts fish in the boat, so he knows a few things I reckon.

Myself and many thousands who check out the TFF every day over all those years have learned from Chad. Rednecktexan used to be his screen name!

I am a long time bass fisherman. I couldn't pass up the winter blue catfish action with my 2 kids starting to fish. Sounds corny but I googled a catfishing site Chads popped up. I started reading, printed off some gear suggestions. Went shopping and took my 8yr old son in the kayak to Lake Lavon. We launched at little ridge, went out to a nice hump with tons of shad and fish. we had one 6,10,10,15,18,30 . I let my 8 yr old land everyone but the 30 After selling the kayak for a boat I downloaded his shad ebook. It's very informative and offers tons of fastrack advice. I must be honest one day at lake worth I struck out on finding bait sent chad a tweet he responded quickly and said that particular body of water is much different than Lavon, G vine, lewisville, etc. Thanks, James

It's worth it, consider this if you booked me or any other guide on a teaching trip it would cost you 300.00 plus dollars and you would forget half the info we gave you because there is just so many little things to remember, this way you have the info to go back to, I just yesterday added his website to my signature just for those who want that extra info. I've fished with him and for him, it will help.

Chads a nice guy. Look up catfishedge. It's his newest venture.
Chad is also about to become a regular on the FSSW outdoor report.

I'm with everyone else it seems. One of the things I like is in his videos he teaches you something rather than just wathing some guy catch fish.
Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most !!
