Man, I'm sure we all have hunted or fished for everything. For me, it is tough to beat that crappie thump in shallow water, jigging with a flyrod. Thoughts?

I'm with Jiggin El on this one...catching is great...feeling that thump!... but EATING sustains life...eating CRAPPIE raises the bar on sustenance...For instance, try one of Pepop's crappie tacos...pure heaven....

Pepop's crappie tacos? OK, give it up. Where do you get these and/or where is the recipe. I did some searches on the site and couldn't find it. Sounds REALLY good from your comment of "pure Heaven"

I totally agree, that thump is special. When you get to your spot and start fishing, is that first "thump" a bit of a surprise? It is for me every time!!
