Ramping up my cat gear again. I am familiar with ugly stiks, and cat claw. Heard good things about the PA, and would like to get my hands on one soon. But I am also looking to buy a couple of different rods and see what I really like. Ran across a couple in the Catfish Connection catalogue. Anyone use or can comment on the rods below? opinions on these please.

Those are really heavy rods. If you're fishing for trophy cats only have at it if not go with something else.

The Catmaxx reel holds up pretty well. I haven't tested the rods though.

I have several of the CatBuster rods. They have held up pretty good. CatMazz probably be a little heavier.

Texas Catfish Guide what do you use? I have some lighter rods a couple of All stars, a Quantum, and a couple of Falcons. I would like something heavier

One option is the best option concerning catfish sticks Pro Angler rods have easily replaced nearly ever rod I use,Ive sold off all the rest I paid much more for I do have rods I will keep, but every rod I take to the water is a PA rod. I have 15 bait casters and will soon add 8 of the new medium actions for bank fishing
I really think that much of them, solid product for the money No Doubt!

yea PA is definitely on my list. I just want to try a couple of different rods just trying to get some insight to narrow it down. But I am leaning towards getting a PA and a Catmaxx. fish the 2 for a while and see which I like best. I would like to go put my hands on a PA first though

All of my rods are PA's. Best rods for the money.

I went with the OKUMA Classic pro 8ft, for $20 it is a great medium action rod. I also got a Surge Trophy Cat for a heavy big cat rod, I picked it up from a member here.
