I've not fished for crappie in about 50 years. Things have changed since then. I don't even own that Zebco 33 anymore. I hear you use something other than minnows. I've got a pontoon with, Humminbird finder and trolling motor, but no clue where to start other than under the I-30 bridge(s).

I've got a new fishing buddy, my grandson. I need to get him hooked up this spring. Any help you can give me would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Wish I could help. But I have never fished that lake. I tried to once many years ago but when I got there I found all the ramps were on dry land. So I went to Fork and fished there.

Troll along 30 on the south side of it and u should be able to find some brush piles in 14-20 ft of water. When in full spring u can usually cast towards the rocks and bounce the jig back to u and u should be able to get em!! i usually use a tandem rig when i do this. good luck my friend!
