I am gonna say that is just a little over 6 feet, and second the motion about the deep fried w/Taters and gravy.
In fact if it had been me that got it, there would be 2 pictures, 1 as caught, and 1 as served.

Is you want to see alot of 5 ft or 6ft go over to the rattle snake round up in sweetwater.I have seen and caught some 7ft and almost a 9ft diamond back rattler over in red bluff lake near new mexico.me and my dad would catch them over at a private pond and take them home.we would sell them to this guy who would come by pecos once a month.we were getting $2.50 a pound(venomous) and $2.00 a pound (non-venomous).The guy said,they would use them for the making of snakebite antidope syrum.
I would rather have a bad day fishing,than a good day at the office!

I ran one over north of nocona on one of those two lane roads towards the lake and it was and it was streched out almost to the yellow line down the middle, came back with a knife and someone had already got it.

Looks like a sister or brother to the one's in the Texas Hill Country. They are nasty to.
Seen plenty that size, bigger and smaller.
Glad that ones done gone.. What good are they anyway????
