Crappie condo.

I put it in my slip around 5 and I went back out tonight at 7. It already had plenty of shad and minnows swimming around it. Caught a couple of crappie too. Gonna make two more.

I made it keeping in mind what I had read about structure here on the forum. The info one can find here is great. I always recommend the forum to anyone I might speak to about fishing. You really learn a lot.
Thanks to all! Happy fishing!

Hey, I love the way you have designed this structure. Much better than any of the others I have seen, as it is easy to build and easy to handle. clap

I wish the porcupine fish attractors I build had such fast action. frown

What are you using for the base? Where did you get it?

That's a really cool idea.

I'm not one to call out other people's work, so PLEASE don't take this the wrong way. I really do like the condo.

Looks to me like when you're fishing it sooner or later you're bound to hook that milk crate through the top. It's not very heavy and surely it will pull over or maybe even up if you're using braided line.

Again, just a thought, not meant to be rude.

I cut a brick I bought from the hardware store into four pieces and zip tied them tho the corners. Its just an old milk crate I foud lying around. After all I read about I can hook it with my pole that has a hook on the end to get it out of the water if I need to move it. Next project is an underwater LED light fish attractor. My brain is already on fire with how I might make it and where I'm going to put it. Portable or stationary, color, length of cord, one for the slip another for the boat. Its hard staing forcused at work when all I keep thinking about is catching fish.

Let me know what you come up with on the fish light, I am very interested and haven't found any solid results with anything on the market...
