Nice cat Gary. My brandpa and me used to catch a bunch of these in the Sulphur River and White Oak Creek in Titus and Morris county on throw lines and set hooks using little perch for bait. He called this kind of cat an Opelousas(yellow cats, flatheads) and it was one of the best eating of all the cats. For some reason these cats prefer live bait instead of cut bait, stink baits, etc. used to catch channel cats.
What did you catch this one on?
