Never been much on fishing drains but seems to be where the fish are. My question is are there any maps or mapping cards that show drains for sam rayburn?

Navionics is the best mapping out there IMO.

The contour lines will show drains. Do a search on you tube for tutorials.

The contour lines will show drains. Do a search on you tube for tutorials. The contours MIGHT show HALF of the drains, and those get beat to death. The good ones are unmarked.

Skeeter go check out the webapp on Navionics.com and it will give you an idea of what drains are shown on rayburn. This way you can see if for yourself for free before making a purchase.

Contact Jeff Buchanan at his realestate office in Zavalla. He put together an insiders map that is supposed to be really good.

I'm really not trying to be rude, but if it's going to be a drain worth a dang, you aren't going to find it on any map. If you see it on a map, you have to assume thousands of other fisherman have already fished it. Honestly anything that's on a map, I don't want to fish! The best thing to do is to just take a few days and just ride around graphing. Don't even have a rod out to tempt you to fish. It will be a win-win for you. You will learn to use your new electronics AND hopefully find some sweet spots.
