Enjoyed the holiday on the lake with a good friend of mine today. We fished hard 5 or 6 hours. We had 0 bites. North wind was tough. Water temp was 43 early and warmed to 46. 45 was the most consistent temperature. We fished river channels and bends in 20-25 ft water. We found fish, but they did not want to play.
Water temp was 37-38 in same area 8 days ago.

Welcome to My World thats why i fish elsewhere they say fish the lake when the wind is out the southwest i have fished that lake from all kinds of wind directions only thing i havent fished it is a hurricane might be the only way to thin the spots out of the lake then we could have our own movie call it SpotNado
That Bass dont care if your in a Ranger boat or a metal bathtub with a trolling motor mounted to it if he aint biting neither will do you any good

There are plenty of good fish in the lake. A 6.20 won big bass Saturday in Green Pastures tourney. A bad day fishing beats a good day working.
