Disclaim: I am not affiliated with Outdoor Brands, or Thermocline Lures. I am just a consumer, a fish man like most people on TFF. So this post is NOT a promotion of the products by all means. Went out fishing this morning with my good buddies with 3 goals in my mind: 1. testing LURE FLAVOR from Outdoor Brandz, 2. testing Thermocline Lures I just received yesterday, and 3. further testing my newly ties crappie jigs. The results speak itself: bank fishing from 7am to 9am, in 2 hours, I caught over 40 crappies: 14 keepers. two biggest ones: 13 3/4", 13 1/2". My friends also had better or similar results. What a wonderful day!

I have to say that Thermocline lures are much better than I expected: the size is perfect, color choices are plenty, and it's very effective. I caught lot of crappie using Thermocline Lil' Frys: Copperhead Blues and Fort Knox. LURE FLAVOR by Outdoor Brandz is amazing: 1. when you first use it, you will notice that the spray has a very pleasant smell, a sweet smell, which I really like. 2. The flavor lasts very long. I used last Wednesday for the first time, sprayed on my own lures. This morning when I took my lure out of the box, the smell of the FLAVOR is still there. So one spray, I can continue fishing for a long time. Amazing. 3. Once spraying on the lure, it does not matter what color or lure I am using. Crappies are attracted by the FLAVOR, and they would bite. 4. Once spraying on the lure, it does not matter how I present my lure to the fishes, they would bite. I can slow retrieve, shake it, jerk it, bottom bounce it. It does not matter. 5. Once spraying on the lure, crappies will bite and hold the lure longer than without it, giving me longer time to set hook. 6. Once spraying on the lure, I can just let my lure falling to the bottom, let it sit there, and crappie will come and suck my lure up. Bottom line, this LURE FLAVOR works. Here a sincere, heartful thanks to Outdoor Branks for a wonderful product, and giving us a chance to use it. My own "flies" LURE FLAVOR Thermocline Lures And best of all, my catches:

Went fishing with moonriver and got more than 10 crappies besides the fish moonriver showed above. It seems Lure Flavor works great.
Big thanks to Outdoor BrandZ for providing the free sample of Lure Flavor. It is a wonderful day.

Did you do an actual test where both people fished the same jigs but one person used the attractant and the other person did not?
Or did you both you use the attractant all the time.

No, we didnt test it that way. There are lots structures in the water, very easy to get hung. I may loss 7 or 8 jigs. Some time we use the spray, and some times we didnt. We noticed that when using the spray, we caught bigger fish. Did you do an actual test where both people fished the same jigs but one person used the attractant and the other person did not?
Or did you both you use the attractant all the time.

If it works I would like to buy it. But I would prefer to see it tested where one person uses it, one person doesn't, with same jigs. Then we would know that the attractant was what made the difference and not just that the crappie were biting well when it was used. Denton Pond Jumper, your experience is more useful. Did anybody catch any crappie while you were fishing there? It could just be that no fish were there when you were fishing. Had you caught fish when nobody else was catching I would be ordering several bottles tonight. But as you stated, more testing is in order before an opinion can be formed either way. I would love to hear good results that proved it worked, as I certainly need something to help me right now.

Nobody found crappie thats the way its been this year at the barge no fish they just have not moved in. I am with you on two fishing the same jig and one using the sent. But it is fishing and every time I try to master it well I keep fishing LOL.

I went to the barge last Wednesday, fished from 3:30 to 6:30, caught one keeper crappie, missed 2 bites.
Another gentlemen fished same time period, caught 7, 4 keepers. He was using a red/white stinger, tandem rigged. He was using a bottle of spray VERY HEAVILY AND FREQUENTLY.
For some reason, early morning and night bites are not there. But you may catch some here and there during the day.
