I have been down here at amistad fishin for a few days now and the only fish I have caught is in the devils canyon area on a c-rig brush hog. Anyone with a little experience want to give me some ideas? Don't need spots just lures I should be trying

Square bill crank bait shallow around the shoreline odd grass pods if you can find them. The most I have found are in the Rain God.

Stay with the C-Rig Brush Hog and go deeper in and out at the mouth of all the drainages on the Devels. There are several on both sides of the river South of the Power lines. Get in about 15 to 20 feet drag your way in and jump across to the other side and drag your way out.

Each person you work with holds some promise to your future success.

Thanks mr Harper I think I might stick with the c-rig and try deeper. That's one heavy duty dropshot

That's about the only thing around right now that would put a limit in the boat there. That or an old hand crank telephone. . .

What is the water tempature?
I'd go with a Jerkbait or A-Rig.

I tried dynamite but couldn't get down to the good ones. Hand grenades worked much better. After you pull the pin just count down before you throw to very the depth
