Took my 5 year old to South Lakes Pond in Denton yesterday. We used powerbait. He reeled in 2 trout and we had a great time. Not a limit but enough for lunch today!

That's a great pic. Those memories will last a lifetime. Thumbs up to the young man.

I took my son to Northlakes Sunday morning but no bites. Also I fishes the creek at Alton road on Saturday and no bites there either. Other than falling into the creek I had no action fishing this weekend. Anyone have any suggestions on where to fish in the creek? I walked to the creek from my house on Montecito but only found a few areas that could hold fish.First time creek fishing. Any help?

I wouldn't touch the creek for a couple more weeks until the whites start there run. You'll know when it's on by the amount of people down there.
