Is it normal for the PSI gauge to jump up and down while on plane? Mine was jumping up to about the 15 mark then would fall back down to 10 or so. Then back up to 15. I was doing about 38 mph. Yamaha 200 SHO. I have video of the gauge. just don't know how to post it.

Assuming you are not trimming while the pressure is changing, I would guess that it's the thermostats throttling water flow.

If the impeller is not fresh I would replace it.
