Well as most of you know I've been after the lake record for some time.
Saturday was my birthday so I went out fishing. We caught some nice eaters and a 27 pounder,
Then the last fish we caught was A good one!
The new Pro Angler medium action rod went to work!
She came up about 30 yards from the boat and I got a glimps of her! I told the guys this maybe her! The lake record! Was not sure but really felt like the fish was over 40! We netted her and the hook came out as she hit the floor of the boat! We hugged and admired the beast, high fives we given then The scales were brought out, 42 lbs! Four pounds off the lake record! It was still my biggest fish caught on eagle mountain!
Been catching some good fish at least a 20 pounder per trip which is pretty good for that lake. Here are some pics. From recent trips I guided the past few weeks, enjoy

Worth Tex guys enjoying the day, We caught only four fish 15,25,35,39 with a total weight of 114 lbs for four fish each guy caught new PB

 Good Grief!!! Great fish guys.... and on Eagle Mountain....wow!!! I'm not a catfisherman but these are HUGE.. I guess cold water temps don't bother catfish I/we were out there just the other day and water temps were in the low 40's... Needless to say, not a bite for bass....NADA.. Good going!!!
