I'm going out today to try and find SandBass or hybrids on cedar creek. I'm going to be fly fishing from a float tube but have never fished cedar creek before. Can anyone give me a good starting point to find these fish I'm looking for? Thanks!

Going to be tough with a fly rod from a float. Need to find at least 38fow and they will be suspended in the 25-30 ft range. We were out Saturday and found them in the creek channels. Also water temps in the mid 40's so going to be cold in a float tube.

I'm going to be using sinking fly lines I'm sure I could hit the depth but don't know any area really

Without electronics, you will just have to be lucky.

In a float tube with no electronics I would be fishing the bridge pilings for crappie. You might get into some sandies there as well. That is one big lake and the last thing you want to do is get caught out in open water in a float tube.
