Fished Fork Friday, Saturday, and Monday. The bite was OK for me on Saturday and Monday, but Friday (my first ever time on Fork) was excellent and I got what I was looking for.

She went 10 lbs and 8 oz. , 25 inches

Caught her up Little Caney with a Crankbait along a creek channel leading up into a spawning flat.

I have got to give Fork a try, but I am a little weary after seeing the picture of the sunk Ranger.

Basscat 1, as long as when you are running on plane you are in the market boat lanes, you are good. As soon as you venture out of the lanes, shut it down and idle. If conditions are right, you will not be dissappointed with Fork.

Thanks for the info. Last year when lake Ivie was low it was like that too, but there are no marked boat lanes at lake Ivie.

Wow! I stayed at Lake Fork Marina and the people that stayed next to us were Jayhawks. I also met some while eating dinner at "The Place" one night. The Jayhawk nation is strong down in Texas.
Rock Chalk!
