I heard that some of the marinas around the 154 bridge area carry ethanol free fuel. Now whether they have premium or not, that is a whole 'nother animal. Before the world went ethanol crazy I ran Exxon premium unleaded in all my boats. There was a definite difference in the amount of power I was producing over the other brands. They've probably reformulate a dozen times or so since I owned a boat last so who knows......but if you get stuck with having to rum ethanol fuel I'd try it.
I hope to find an ethanol free fuel source in that area. I'll just fill up when I get there.........

go to bulk plant in Mineola and ask. You will need to go south out of Mineola on 69 when you go over railroad tracks take first left and go about two blocks on left. They supply a lot of the marines there non ethanol and can tell you if they are even making high octane. They make 87 for a while and 92 for a while.

Duko Oil Company in Emory sells it to anybody. They also supply some of the stations in the area. It is across the street from the Brookshire grocery store.
