our club is having their championship at Bob Sandlin 4-5 and 4-6. we had intended to stay at ragans but they are booked. there are going to be about 16 of us. 2 to a room. any suggestions other than ragans?

Dallas, I think they have cabins over at cypress springs. Not that far. But also not 100% they are open

Try Snappy Pappy's just down the road from Ragan's. Other than that you could stay in Mt Pleasant.

Candlewood in Mt. Pleasant is nice and clean.

Cabins are pretty basic, have heat and ac,and I believe two sets of bunk beds. Cheap and secure. My wife and I stayed there a couple of times.

ok cabins and candlewood are out, how about the days inn in mt pleasant? anybody stay there with a boat?

Try Ragans Overnite just up the road from Sandlin. They're a bunch of trailer he rents out, our club stays there when we fish in the area, all different sizes and pretty secure and reasonable. Here's the number 1-903-572-7563. If ya want Hilton ammenities this ain't it but clean, with plug ins, he caters to fisherman.
