When do the sandies start running up there?

getting close they are off and on right now. just go to the hole and tie up to the boat next to ya....and you'll catch a few.

You can almost walk to the blue hole by stepping from one boat onto the next.

I know the fish consumption ban advisories for lake worth have lifted on sandies and crappie, but any of y'all still have reservations on eating sandies/crappie from the nature center or lake worth? I've been wanting to yak there but always have gone elsewhere b/c the old consumption bans are engrained in me.

You got that right wasn't to packed but the fishing wasn't all that

Unless it's starting late this year, the sandies should be there already amongst the crappie. Mid February usually is when the run starts winding down.
