used one for years and used it for every technique possible and never had a problem with it. not sure if the new ones are of the same quality, but I thought it was a great reel for $80

i used to love quantum reels, but after awhile when something needs to be replaced its a huge pain to get parts....

but i have 2 code reels and they both were fine and i use em for everything
