Ipast few weeks I've been hitting ray Roberts through freezing cold and all. Mainly to learn the lake. I got a buddy from Washington visiting. Where would my best chance be in at least getting the bass to bite. Any reports much appreciated. I also been working on lavon. Not even sure if the old boat ramp that came up even still useable. I'm thinking grapevine just cuz its safer. Lewisville is like a dang minefield. So is Hubbard.

Dang. Well I can act like I'm gonna put him on something. Least it won't get his hopes down. I can only pray to the bass gods. Guess I will go to grapevine. For the scenery. Will post tomorrow if any luck.

If you want to catch fish, take him to Welsh! All of the DFW lakes are hovering around 40 degree water temps and the bite is slowwwwww. A little further to drive, but should not have a problem catching fish. Good luck!

Martin Creek you wont be dissapointed. I'm sure Welsh is good as well as Monti. I have fished the past two days on cold water lakes around here. It's just not on yet.
